Butterfly shirt benefits women fighting breast cancer

Here’s a way of contributing your beauty allowance towards a worthwhile cause.

The Orange County affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure has created a limited edition t-shirt with a gorgeous butterfly design. The sales of this t-shirt will benefit women and families facing breast cancer, and will help create awareness for the upcoming Pink Tie Ball on June 6.

The butterflies on the t-shirt symbolize a survivor’s journey: renewal, transformation and resilience. Plus, it’s super chic! I’ve already purchased mine. (FYI - Ordering was quick and easy on their website.)

Proceeds from the Pink Tie Ball, which is open to the public, go towards local breast cancer awareness and education programs, as well as life-saving medical and diagnostic services. A percentage is also dedicated to groundbreaking breast cancer research.

To get more information on the Pink Tie Ball or purchase the shirt, go to ockomenmerchandise.com.
